Marinated artichokes as starters, and then veal with walnut/hazelnut sauce. That's my birthday tiramisu to the right.

Pretty freaking good. I'm not sure the JW Red had anything to do with it though. The marinade has a much greater effect on the flavor and while the pork had a smoky flavor, it wasn't really a different smoky than using the wood chips un-soaked in Scotch. Somebody brought them so we used them, but it's kind of a waste, actually.

Tonight was very simple and very delicious. First, two grilled tilapia fillets. Seasoned with parsley, rosemary, thyme, basil and chili powder. Lemon juice too, of course. Second, a big old burger with cheddar cheese and a toasted wheat roll. The tilapia wasn't quite done when I took the pic. I threw it back on the grill for another 3 minutes.
