That all looks great, minus the quail egg, which looks like a tiny sprig of dill sitting on a fleck of bacon sitting on a smoosh of crystallized ginger.

I love the photos posted in this thread but I'm annoyed by people photographing their plates when I dine out. I find it distracting, and sort of childish. Anyone else feel this way and are there restaurants that don't allow their tables to be used as porn sets?

I try and do a quick snap with my phone before anybody notices. I like collecting photos and reminiscing about the food later

Yeah and that's not a big deal it's just the full on DSLR's clicking away that get me. Just curious if I was being a curmudgeon about it or not.
