Wait, I'm confused.

First the somm told you that vegetables don't go with white wine. So he paired you a red wine.

Then the next two courses were seared foie w/ peaches and a miso marinated black cod with yuzu. There is absolutely no way that he paired both of those with red. So he threw you a red, and then went back to whites? Are you sure it wasn't a rose?
Are you still drunk?

Peas were served with Beajoulis Cru, Morgon "Cote du Py". Foie with a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc, Merry Edwards; black cod with Vin de Pays De L'Herault.

Yes, I am still drunk.

a template and then sprinkled cocoa over it.. no?
There's no cocoa on it. A place like Robuchon would probably never do that. It's from the way the server pours the foam and milk into the espresso.

I'd also like to mention, while I'm still somewhat inebriated, that I met my dream girl tonight at the bar at the Carlyle. She's from Siberia, in her thirties, tall, slender and not a vegetarian. Got a number and a kiss and will be going out next week sometime. :)

I'm not 100% certain, but that looks like it was done with a spoon. Still impressive, but kind of cheating.

Edit: Also, cappuccino at the end of a meal is kind of a faux pas. It's more of a breakfast drink. This is just me being a jerk though, obviously very few people would care.

Well yeah, afaik it's not that beneficial for the digestion either.

By the way, this is how latte art basically works.

A) If he really is a 20 year old dude, it was his first kiss.
B) I have doubts he actually is 20.
