really like the way that fish looks, makes me hungry. Don't know what the bread is doing there and maybe I'd do the gazpacho as more of a sauce.

Maybe the bread is there to prevent fish sogginess (also known as halibut swamp ass)

I mention it because halibut can be a little tricky to cook, and has the tendency to dry out pretty fast if you're not careful. Having a regular shape and thickness makes it easier to control. For leftovers, I'm sure it was fine.
