Burger on homemade bun. Just lettuce, dijon, cheddar, beef, salt, and pepper.

Amazing.

Great job on the bun. What is the line of yellow on the bottom portion? Egg wash?

The burger looks cooked just right.

Yeah, it's egg wash. I must have brushed it on a little heavy. I don't bake often, so it's a learning experience.

Had my first pho today. Was a take away so I had to mix the broth, noodles, herbs by myself at home. Hope I did it somewhat okay. Next time I'll use some less chilis, maybe 60-70%, they were pretty hot. Tasted good though. Added some more cilantro and thai basil while eating.

The broth looks very light. Is it just the picture or was it really that pale?

Now that you say it, yep, in comparison to the one impolyt posted it indeed is very light. So I guess this was no perfect broth. Have to try it somewhere else then, right?

Nothing. I just took the bones out in one piece, then since all the skin is in tact it shrinks back down to its original shape, but in a smaller size. I was kind of bored.
