Old-fashioned presentation, French of course, called "Truite en colere". Angry trout bites his own tail...

Huh, that's pretty funny. I would've called it truite trente quatre virgule cinq.

This one does look really mad

and here I thought Whole Foods taking a smaller fish and placing it into the mouth of a swordfish head for "dramatic presentation" was lame...

I like to take sardines and roll them like mm did, putting persillade in the cavity formed and just broil them until done. Just make sure to add a bit of olive oil to the persillade so that it sticks to itself.

mgm, serious talk: i admire a lot of the stuff you do, but this presentation is to me a prime example of why you should pull back a little bit from torturing your food. sardines are gorgeous fish and they're so naturally delicious. Try doing something really simple with them and see how beautiful they are without having been over-manipulated. just give it a shot.

I went to Elf (vegetarian restaurant) last night. It was good. I got a "seasonal" vegetable tagine that was tomato based.
