Yes, and I'm drinking another bottle with the remaining crabs tonight.

What brand?

I've only had 2 or 3 different brands, but they were all 3 buttery smooth and tasted great.

Not really sure the brand of the riesling, but they were all California or West Coast offerings, all less than $10 a bottle.

Try rieslings from the Finger Lakes area. They're very inexpensive and tasty. My personal favorite comes from Prejean Winery.

I highly recommend a Finger Lakes wine tour, when you get a chance.

I'll definitely check those out when I get off my bourbon/scotch/whiskey schtick.

So far, the best I've had is a 2004 Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. It was fantastic.

OK, I'm back on form: Grilled organic chicken with honey/mustard vinaigrette and mashed potatoes.

I am soooo ashamed. We were out shopping late and then stopped in the pub for a couple of pints (Guinness bitches).

Nothing open by the time we got out, so I just ate frozen jalapeno poppers and chicken nuggets.

Tomorrow I will redeem myself by going to theh butchers and picking up a 28 day dry aged strip.

I just realized that I must be hungry. The last 3 posts I made have been in food or dining related threads.
