Shoe, I know you are a lasagna connoisseur, what do you think of TJ's product?

I miss Trader Joe's. There isn't one anywhere within 50 miles of here. The only consolation prize is that we have Wegman's.

Last night for dinner, I had a handful of mini - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and a couple slices of Gouda.

Washed it all down with a refreshing glass of Tang.

That's good to know -- I was making a feeble Tang/Astronaut gag. Looks like my delivery needs work

Ah hah! Your joke burned up and was lost on re-entry.

I always forget that Tang wasn't invented for poor people.

Napoli pizza (Mozz., tomato oregano, anchovy); the base was unbelievable. Then Crema Catalana; coffee; grappa. €16.

I cooked trout in bread crumbs (in the over) with a lobster cream sauce and sauteed spinach.

Roasted a chicken last night. It was basted with a thyme-infused butter, and some seasalt, pepper. On the side, roasted potatoes (under the chicken), and brussel sprouts with bacon. All over white rice. Deelicious.

Tonight, just got lazy and ordered some wings from a local joint.

Very interesting. I grew up eating that and will be in Nigeria in a few weeks. Can't wait.

Late Sunday night at Zuni with friends from France: 4 margaritas, 3 chickpea soups, 4 scallops with escarole salad, Parr Selection Chardonnay something+something vineyard.
Tokay with multiple puttonyos + Pays d'Auge 16 year Calvados and few tasty deserts.
