I thought BIG would have had the lead, though I voted for Nas. My vote would change weekly though between the two and Big Daddy Kane.

I voted Rakim, Nas is close.

Why the hell is Jadakiss on here?

Poll is to vague. What do you mean by "best rapper"? Best flow? Lyrical Content? Overall Message? It's too broad of a question to be answered-but I voted for Tupac. He didn't have the best flow, but his political upbringing and message was the strongest, and he was the most talented.

Best rapper is the combination of all those attributes. I think Pac had the best delivery of any rapper.

Sam reason Weezy, Common, CamRon or whoever stands no real chance of winning is on there. To satisfy those who want to be different or have bad taste.

Common is a better lyricist than Biggie.

Jadakiss deserves to be on here more than most other options available.

Big had a good delivery, but far from the greatest of all time like so many tout him as. As an MC and overall package, Jay-Z became everything Big was and then more. Actually I thought he proved himself superior beginning with Reasonable Doubt. It's just he's slipped so far into comfortable mediocrity that most people overlook this, or throw out Big's name anyway to seem "down"

Sorry, I guess Ice Cube is the west coast guy. I'm thinking of IceT (wtf is Ice Pick?!) w/ the stripper/pornstar GF & SVU gig....

No love for Gil Scott Heron? I'd say he's the original rapper...

There are too many choices. I was trying to decide between Biggie and Tupac, then I said fuck it and picked LL.
