The music has always influenced the style... usually directly. Tune-wise, I don't follow the trends. I follow my ears. When it comes to the clothes, I throw in my own twist. But... it's almost always tied into a musical movement.

I have lurked here for a while; I'm coming to the end of law school, and began lurking on and off when I was preparing for job interviews with firms.

Before this thread, I'd never have picked the number of current/former hardcore kids on this forum.

My musical taste largely defines my casual style, in terms of clothes, hairstyles, and, I guess, tattoos.

Agreed. When I was booking shows/going to 2-3 a week + having the majority of my friends from the 'scene', it was hard not to have music influence me or the way I dressed. Lol, the last hardcore show I went to was Earth Crisis/Sworn Enemy/Shai Hulud 3-4 months back.
