alas only ebay.co.uk that I know of. on the sock it says 'made for Trading Post' which is widely believed on the forums to be a japanese retailer, so google for those fluent in japanese...

I highly recommend the Wesbourne and the Edgware in the 348.

I definitely prefer the 348 over 337 since I have small feet (size 7) but I can see how in larger sizes the 348 could appear "clownish".

Thanks to you and jsherman, I'm glad I know that now. I was just about to order some shoes on the 337 last (just been trying to decide which ones). I may have to reconsider my options and order something on the 348 last instead. I wear a U.S. D, but barely. Did you go down half a size from your U.S. Size in the 348 or a full size down (like people suggest with respect to the 337)? My problem is that I'm between a 7.5 and 8 in U.S. shoes, so makes it somewhat of a gamble with respect to what to order. Thanks again.

I'm US 7.5 and would recommend 348 in UK 7 E. Outsole length is 300mm or 11 13/16 for 348/UK 7E.

I think a UK7 should be fine. If you order from plal, you can always return it if the size is a bit off, but you'll lose the shipping costs.

Nice collection PG. Have you had a chance to go through the 2008/2009 catalogue yet? C&J now has a 358 last in handgrade which looks exactly like the 348.

The Selborne in particular looks quite nice (think Wesbourne with a medallion) -> perhaps we can convert you into a 348/358 fan yet!

Phat Guido, your collection really makes me wish the 337 would fit me better than it does (I'll just have to build a collection of 341's instead ). Btw, if you feel you need a brown derby for your collection, there's a nice one called Stanley on the 337 last in the new 08-09 mail order catalogue. Also, if you like the 358 last, there's a model called Grenville (also handgrade), which I suspect you might like.

Speaking of the new catalogue, what do you guys think about the Worcester on p.16? (It's a dark brown suede derby on the 341, with a new rubber sole.)

I have three pairs in 348 and one in 337. I wish I had picked half a size smaller in the 337 as it is a bit loose in the heel.

I have quite narrow feet.
