Here are some of the others:

Right shoe is the second row from the front, is that the Audley in Dark Brown Antique Calf?

I'm looking for something exactly like that but maybe a little lighter in color, any thoughts anyone?

If you like the 348 last, the Hallam in Beechnut Burnished Calf might be what you're looking for. You can see it on page 2 in post #22.

Does anyone know if the sizes are the same between all the various lasts? I own a pair of Dartmouth (318) in 10E, and I was wondering if it would be safe to get the same size in other C&J shoes as well. Right now I'm looking at Finsbury (341), Canterbury (317) and Drummond (348), but they are not available in stores where I live, so I'm considering ordering online. I'm also wondering if anyone knows how C&J (318 or others) compare in sizing to Church's and Allen-Edmonds. I assume the AEs are made in US sizes, meaning the UK 10E would be a US 10.5E?

I'm curious on how similar the 341 fits in comparison to the 337. I really want the Swansea in suede.

I think the 341 looks a bit more narrower in the toe, but it's impossible to tell from the picture how they compare in width. Anyone own both who can do a comparison?

I own both but only US size conversions.

In the same exact US size, the 341 runs slightly roomier in width. Slightly. Surprising because it doesn't look like this on the exterior.

Unrelated to the above, I have since acquired a suede 236 Connaught, it's a great medium round last. I wear it a lot. I also got one of the Peal wholecuts on a 317, its nice but a little stubby. Its like a 337 "stopped short"

What do you think is the best way to decide which last fits best?

I would love to do some broad trial and error experiment with C&J shoes but would rather walk into a store in New York and have an experienced salesman look at my foot and make a decent recommendation. Would it be better to wait for a trunk show with a C&J employee?

Same question for Alden and AE.

I own the finsbury and the clifford.

the 341 is slightly shorter in length than the 337. Might be a stretch (pardon the pun) to say a half size smaller, but it is for sure shorter.

This is basically an impossible question to answer, because everybody's feet have such little nuances. There are some broad statements, like the 348 is a bit narrower than other lasts. But that doesn't really mean much in practice. I own about six different C&J lasts. They all fit me a bit differently. Some are clearly better than others, while others fit equally well, but in different ways. It's really just about trial and error with yourself being the judge of what fit suits you best.

You're not going to find a C&J trunk shoe, and there's pretty much one shoe salesperson in New York who is really familiar with the different C&J lasts. It's that woman in T&A whose name I can't remember.

Don't mean to be a downer. You've just got to go try on shoes and understand on your own what you are looking for fit wise.

Cindy, I believe.
