I didn't get what was going on besides "jazz." This is how I feel about jazz music in general though. I always feel like I'm not "getting" something.

It's alright. It comes with time. Nobody can really explain it, but you get it after a while.

this thread is sorta pretentious and misguided but i'll bite finale of shostakovich's 5th symphony w/ leonard bernstein conducting... absolutely ridiculous would post more, but i gotta run.

She's a friend of the family and her new album should be dropping any time now on ATIC records.



Her Myspace page is here, with some more of her tunes on it. Hard to find them around.

And she can be heard on AIM's album Flight 602, as she helped co-write it.

AIM needs some props too. I actually just saw it in J's car last weekend, which is why I've been thinking about it lately.

Pretentious and misguided? I find that so Ironic, especially coming from someone posting a cliche Bernstein performance and another posting a swing revival band.
