Who here plans to see it? Not surprisingly, I am looking greatly forward to it.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

It looks awfully heavy handed to me and I can't say I'm going to be waiting in line to see it. I usually like to watch most any movie that is timely or critical of social perspectives, but I just hope that it doesn't let its agenda interfere with trying to be funny, or tell a funny story. American conservatives may do many things right, but witty social satire is rarely one of them.

FYI, if you want to hear some witty social satire from the right, there's a guy who rights (pun) songs, Paul Shanklin. His Al Gore Paradise and In A Yugo never fail to make me laugh.

^Except, though Michael Moore is making a documentary, which by nature has an agenda. This is supposed to be a "movie," in which the agenda should be suppressed beneath the storytelling.
Anyway, I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm not going to say it doesn't do this (it might be great!), but I was just giving my opinion based on what I have seen/heard/read about it so far.
Thanks for the recommendation for Shanklin; I'll check him out!

I just read the description on wikipedia and this sounds like absolute intellectually and artistically bankrupt trash.
I'll watch it when it's out on DVD. I think W will be more entertaining.

I am far from a Micheal Moore fan and I can still say this will probably only serve to elevate his esteem.Esteem? Does anyone take him seriously? Besides perhaps stoned college freshman?

Bill Mahr's Religulous killed it in the box office. It was in I think half as many theaters than American Carol and made almost the same amount of money total.
I'm looking forward to watching both of them soon. I think American Carol is going to be probably as offensive as Postal and I'm going to laugh my ass off. I take American Carol's political statement about as serious as Dumb & Dumber.
