Drinking before class in college/grad school - Page 4

In undergrad: I occassionally had a little vodka in my orange juice bottles during one particularly boring AM class, discreetely added from a flask. At the Universite de Paris: With open container laws being a tad bit more lax in Paris, a friend and I would occassionally grab a "tall" beer on the way to an afternoon class about IGO's with a monotone prof, as we walked from the metro stop to the classroom. Would I do it now? Nope.

I know this might be hard to belive but every german law student officially gets drunk in one course.
When you intern (actually more of a clerkship) with a court you have to attend a 'class' on legal medicine where you get drunk and have to go to a breathalyzer after every drink. Supposedly you do that to be aware of how drunk you are after a each drink and be aware of that once you're a judge or so.

At eight in the evening we had two guys throw up in the buildig of a higher court and one in front of it... with a judge and a doctor present. Good times...

It being that early, naturally some people decided to attend the 'shot night' at the dorm bar...
We had to be in court at nine the next morning, which was tough...

Only if you include going to a morning class still drunk from the night before. I would never drink before a class, unless I had a Friday evening class or something (but, then, I would never register for a Friday evening class).
