It’s a fun little David and Goliath video.
Giving away 33 years and using an engine one-half the BMW's engine size, this tiny 1965 Lotus Elan just gets by the 1998 BMW M3 (E36) on the last lap. The real handicap for the Elan was its four-speed gearbox. A fifth gear would have tipped the balance even more on the two long straits.
