What is your best response when someone says "I'm sorry" for an annoying but fairly insignificant slight, e.g., a hair stylist who keeps you waiting 45 minutes for your appointment? "Apology accepted" is too formal. I often use "It's alright," but that seems too flip, and not truthful because it's usually isn't alright. Staying silent doesn't seem appropriate either.
