i think it'd be cool if some show like Mad Men was outfitted by Thom Browne...although that may be a bit too fashion-hypebeasty

on another note, i think Steve Carrell wearing JC Penney in The Office looks better than most people i see in suits, as mentioned already, because he's Steve Carrell...the personality he exudes from his acting makes him appear more outstanding than normal. I'm pretty sure the average Joe wearing those suits would look faceless in the crowd.

it annoys me when Baldwin always has both buttons on his 2-btn suits buttoned... same goes for E on Entourage whenever he wears a suit

I actually enjoy seeing Andy's outfits on The Office. Way too preppy when all are put together, but I like to use certain elements of what he wears. i.e. repp ties, chinos, ribbon belts, blazers, and bright colors.

I like how he is well dressed, groomed, and educated, but he is in a dead end job as a paper salesman. Brilliant.

I always thought the styling of E was deliberate. He is a total phony head to toe.

Less so in more-recent seasons, at least now he's trying to pull something together, both professionally and what he wears (though out-of-suit he looks like a frat boy)... and he'll get to bang sloane next season, which puts him beyond reproach.

I'm jonesin' for fresh episodes, when is next season?!?

And +1 on Ari's ties---are they maybe intentionally that gaudy as a "fuck-you" to hollywood superficiality? That at least I coud appreciate.

Next season starts next summer. I don't understand why they take such a long break between seasons. It's not like it takes a long time to film 12 episodes.

I think he wears all JCrew but I might be wrong.

Same thing I was thinking. Suits on The Office, assuming they are OTR, seem to fit better than they do in a real office. My guess is the wardrobe department is using a damn good tailor.
