What do you mean topy it? Mine look like they've worn down more than yours in the back outer heel area and I've worn mine way less frown.gif I'm just worried that area will wear out so much soon that it'll just look weird :/

Also my IRs keep bleeding onto the inside of my denim. Does any one know how to get the stains out?

You can go to a cobbler and have him put on a thin rubber outsole on top of the cork one like this in this blogpost. That should prevent the original sole to wear out so quickly.
THis one is quite extreme though and its possible to pun on a much sleeker one.

Are these the 8111's - Amber Harness Leather?

How are these in rain and snow conditions?

yes

Amber Harness... They work great in the rain but lack traction in the snow. For fall I always treat them so they are waterrepellant and my feet have never been wet so far.

About sizing (again I guess): What size would you recommend if i'm usually use a european 10?

What is the deal with these boots, do I need to treat them and with what?

Hawthorne Muleskinner w/ blue benjos

When they were brand new I gave them two applications of ReviveX Water Repellant.  I wore them on a two week vacation to Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle where it rained 60% of the time and my feet were dry the whole time.

I'm really diggin' the indigo denim stains that are starting to show.

Red Wing's size conversion chart shows UK 10 = US 11, but since these boots run 1/2 size large I would recommend trying on US 10.5

Everyone says these boots run half a size large, I ordered mine online true to size and they seem fine. How do I want these boots to fit? I hate to ask obvious questions but spending this much on boots has me pretty worried.

Anyone care to give me some sizing advice on the Iron Rangers (in Amber Harness)

I wear a 10.5 in LL Bean Katahdin Boot (thick socks)

10.5 in Rancourt Ranger Mocs

11 in Vans Authentics

10 in Chucks

11.5 in Nike Free Runs

11 in Sperry Topsiders

10.5 in Clarks DB

and 11 in most other sneakers. Also anyone know of some sweet deals coming up on the Iron Ranger? It seems like they can routinely be had under $200.

Planning on wearing this mostly with thick/medium socks.

Well I wear 9.5 Sperry Topsiders, 9 Clarks DB and and 9 in Iron Rangers

So I would say a 10.5 for you
