Dress hats. I understand there is utility in wearing them and some look good in them. But it seems like they get a undue amount of positive attention. Skinny leg trousers 100% of the time. The style looks great on the right guy, in the right context. Wearing trousers that don't have a proper drape with a suit can look sophmoric. Lobb Shoes. I've tried to get into them but the magic isn't there for me. At least not at the $2k+ price. We're they $500 I'd be more of a fan. 2" or more cuffs. Seems a little odd to my eye.

Then again - its all perception. Some folks have posted brands like Omega or H&M being overrated. I'm wondering where that happened myself.

I like the opinions and counter opinions, it opens me up to things I never would have considered myself.

That was very nicely put. I'm agreeing with you too.

Why would you wear any dress shoe in the rain?

Because it is raining, and you can't wear duckboots to an important meeting.

We get about 170 days of rain per year. If my Allen Edmonds 2nds get a little wet, oh well.

So your answer is you don't care. Okay. That's acceptable. But this isn't:

Get some imagination going. Ever heard of rubbers? Newer ones, like Totes, will nicely fit in one pocket of your trench coat.

You don't have to be a pimp to think most AEs and many Aldens are boring.

"Tastefulness" in general has to be up there. Clothes can be fun too.
