It's entirely possible that Borelli and Borrelli are 2 totally different brands. I see that alot with italian suits. Could just as easily be a misspelling though aswell.

Yes, that was kinda my point. Are you a renter or owner? How much money do you have saved? Go with the $100 watch that looks great, and invest the balance elsewhere. Watches above $100 are to show wealth. They do not tell you "better" time. But, having an expensive watch, but no money makes you a bit low class. The moment of truth comes when you meet someone worth $xx,xxx,xxx and you're wearing a more expensive watch than him. That's when you feel like a jackass, and see you've been suckered.

I am totally with you on over stretching financially. I am an owner. I can afford an Omega. I saw a very nice Breguet but that price point would be irrational for my income level.

Depends on the suit but likely:

Yes, on the color;
No, on the style

Typically one doesn't wear loafers with a suit, but I suppose if you are going for a casual look you might be able to do it.

Hi all.

What is the best and easiest website to learn how to tie a tie from?

Thanks!

I bought a pair of Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenues about 2 weeks ago after posting in this thread. LOVE the shoe. However, how do I maintain and store them? I tried searching, hard to come up with something that I want to do.

Purchase the color leather polish from Allen Edmonds website, apply it, store in closet?

That's all I have.

Ron Rider's post below is a good place to start:

Question:

Where should I start in finding out my personal measurements? I'm thinking about getting more close that actually fit and contour to my body better instead of just buying bigger to avoid all "too small" problems but in exchange have nothing actually fit or look good...

I'm looking up some shirts on e-bay and I'm just browsing and a lot of these are given values for shoulder / bust / waste length and sizes....i don't know any of mine...how can I figure this out?

This is a bit iterative- but learn how clothes are measured, then measure some of your best fitting ones.

See Harris how to measure as a good place to start for jackets, and BIG for jeans.
