You could wear them with chinos but not with a tuxedo.

Perfect. Just needed another pair of business casual shoes. Thanks for offering your opinion.

I'm in the market for some serious winter boots. Would it wiser for me to get a pair of Red Wing boots or would the Ralph Polo Cookie Cutter shoes would be insulated enough to be called a winter boots and be wearable in weather reaching -5 degrees F? OR could you reccommend the best winter boots that come in brown/brandy/dark browns/black...

I have had it done. Obviously, the angle and position of the peak limit your options for the angle and placement of the notch, but there is nothing from a construction perspective that prevents this from being done.

What is a good pair of lace up oxfords for around $200 to be used strictly for work occasions? Also, what styling is most suitable? Like are certain styles of oxfords considered too 'flashy' for work attire? I was looking at Allen Edmonds but I'm not to familiar with MC as I'm mainly over on SW&D.

For $200 I don't think you'll find any brand new Allen Edmonds, but you'll certainly find plenty used on eBay. As far as styling goes, I think almost anything made by Allen Edmonds would be suitable: moc-toe, split-toe, cap-toe, plain-toe. I think the more broguing the shoe has, the more flashy, or less conservative, it will be.

E are fairly easily found at discount for $200 or less. At that price point, they're probably among the best values in dress shoes.

Where can I buy dark MOP or horn buttons in Toronto? I checked the stretch of Queen from Spadina to Bathurst and all I can find are plastic.
