Does anyone know what sunglasses Jim Sturgess is wearing in "One Day"? You can see them in the trailer here at 2:01 http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi2946407449/

Try Uniqlo.

What are these Uniqlo ones made of, cotton? Even merino wool? http://www.uniqlo.com/us/explorer.html#/0/gen:men/cat:knit/col:all/g:category/d:6/
Also what do you think of the merino range of JCrew? http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/sweaters/merino.jsp

How would you put the Uniqlo and JCrew knits in comparison and how much inferior are the two of them to the obvious best quality product of JS?

Thanks a lot in advance

I have no experience with uniqlo or jcrew knitwear, but I can say John Smedley are excellent and most models are slim fitting, and they can often be found discounted on eBay (I have bought from this seller).

It depends on who you ask. Some people say they are terrible some people think they are serviceable. I am in the second camp and have been happy with the tie that I bought from them. Can't beat that price, either.

Just about anything with a classic look like Bass (cheaper) or Alden (more expensive). Buy the best you can afford and they will last a long time through multiple re-solings.

You mean via alteration, or buying a certain brand?

Generally it is an impossible alteration and you're stuck with what you have. Some members have claimed some better alterations tailors have opened up their jackets and let-up some of the seam allowance in the arm pits, but that is risky business and I would imagine expensive.

I'm a college sophomore, got a job at DKNY this summer. Figured I might as well pick up the suit since its like 75% off for me. The pants fit okay (not in pic), but I think this jacket needs a bit of waist supression? Cell phone pic from work

Solid light grey suit with black shoes - would you do the traditional white with a funky tie (grey with other colors that pop out) OR some light color shirt with a tie to compliment it?..maybe a striped shirt? darker grey shirt w/ orange colored tie? whats your take on it?

I wanted to wear some kind of an orange shirt (nothing too bright) because I'm known for wearing a lot of orange by my peers, along with a tie that had both colors incorporated into it. Its gonna be a mission to find something I would go for, but I'm determined (got two weeks til the wedding).....your thoughts?
This is the color of the suit I will be wearing...

I would never wear an orange shirt to a wedding, but if that's your thing then go for it.

Hard to tell. Get a shot further back and better quality. It looks ok though.

Via alteration. I was afraid it could be impossible or expensive. Is a sport coat supposed to fit like a shirt? That is high arm holes for slim, close to the chest but not constricting, fit?
