Folks- Does anyone know where I can find the following bag:

Its called the Mismo M/S Work Bag

500

I have been hunting for this bag for ever and tried all the online retailers listed on Mismo's site.

If you know of anyone/store selling this bag; I would much appreciate the lead.

Thanks!

No that can't be on purpose. Looks like something got ripped or came undone.

OTOH it shouldn't take a master tailor to fix it. Just a bit of sewing.

A question on buying vintage shoes:

I'm considering picking up a pair of old Florsheim Imperials longwings from a local thrift store. They look to be in pretty good shape, but of course the soles are very dark/old looking.

Since these shoes are probably 20+ years old - my question is this: How durable are old shoes like this?

I love the idea of finding a cheap pair of quality shoes, but I'm worried that because of their age they will fall apart really easily.

With buying used shoes, espeically vintage it is always a gamble. You never know how they were cared for over time. A resole is easy, but it is likely going to cost more than the shoe. My advice to you is buy them if you like them and get a good deal, but condiiton them, polish them and wear them a while to see how the uppers are holding up. If the uppers are holding up nicely then get a resole and they will feel brand new.

No, never wear dark dress shirts like that, especially with crazy contrast cuffs and collars. They are pretty immature. Your tie should be darker than your shirt.

Should I purchase this suit?

Recently came across this Hickey Freeman suit. It's from 2009, but is only $60 shipped. I am kind of like the suit but am unsure of the colored stripes on the suit. What do all of you think? Should I buy it, or pass? Thanks for the help!

Why does it look like it has spots all over it? The stripes look like they could be cool to play around with. Those colors are inviting to purple or rust accents. However, if you're looking tor a staple suit I say pass.

Also, have you tried it on? If not, do you know your measurements and are confident that it will fit? At $60 it's not that big of a decision, but if you're buying a $60 suit to pour $150 of alterations into it I say pass. You seem too unsure to me.

Has anyone in the NYC area ever used Bespokefit? Groupon currently has a deal for them here: Just curious if anyone has ever reviewed this shop or can comment on their goods/service. Thanks.

What is usually the most that a jacket can be taken in / tapered at the waist? This is a jacket that fits well in the shoulders and chest, just could use a little bit more shape at the waist

Removing gold buttons from blazer to transform into sportscoat: good idea?
