That would be a deal killer for me.

What do you guys think about wearing a tie with a cardigan? Is a tie even an acceptable accessory without a suit?

You can absolutely wear a tie with a cardigan, just make sure you are wearing a button down collar shirt, or a proper dress shirt with barrel cuffs.

What do you think about a man carrying a Longchamp briefcase?

do you know a man that owns one? how does he carry himself?

In his Longchamp briefcase.

He climbs into the Longchamp briefcase and pays someone else to carry it, and therefore he doesn't have to carry himself at all. But only the top 1% of elegant and wealthy New Yorkers know this obscure and luxurious trick.

I'm thinking about buying a Hugo Boss suit on sale from Nordstroms since I need a charcoal suit. I know Hugo isn't looked at super highly around here, but if my price range is sub $600, can I do better for the price? My Nordstrom Rack didn't have Canali and the cheapeast Canali at the regular Nordstroms was around $1,000 on sale.

Any other options or is a Hugo Boss suit thats $300 off going for around $550 a decent deal?

I'm a fan of the Brooks Brothers 1818 suits at that price point. They can often be had two for $1,000.

Just aquired this jacket. Appears to be fairly light weight, probably a 3 season jacket but I might occassionally try to pull it off in the winter. My question is regarding the buttons. In case the pictures are clear enough, it is a mid grey and the buttons are dark grey. Any suggestions for swapping them out? I thought this might add a little personality. Brown, green, etc? Or do you think I should just leave them as is?

How 'bout wood? Leaving them as is would be fine, but adding a little personality to odd jackets is always a good thing.

What is the latest that one should wear fresco? If it is not particularly chilly in October could it still be acceptable?
