If it looks so cheap that you can't tell the difference then why would you want to buy it anyway, whether it is actually real leather or not?

Hardest thing for me about dark trousers is finding a sports coat to wear with them without it looking like a suit. With light pants, you can throw on a gray or blue blazer and there's good contrast.

Do you currently work in the environment or is this a new job? Nothing "wrong" about tan colored trousers for business casual, especially when paired with SC. My approach for a new gig would be to start conservative and make adjustments once you've had a chance to feel things out. You should have a good idea within the first week what is appropriate and what is not, and can use the first weekend for shopping if necessary. Or buy now, return later.

Thanks.

I am not an expert but it doesn't look like leather - unless it is a really thin one.

The folds are not rigid enough. It looks more like Polyester or Nylon.

Question: I love the way houndstooth looks on ties, but I'm not sure if silk would be the right material for the pattern.

Example: Spoo's tie by GShen here

I was thinking something brown, like this tiebar tie. Should I stick with b/w? Houndstooth to me just seems to beg for brown/tan.

However, I can't help feel that it would look way better if it were wool or cashmere. Thoughts?

Need RLPL 16.5 or 16... 34/35 dress shirts fairly quickly.

Does anyone have any recommendations other than paying full price on ralphlauren.

Thanks

Help with shoulder sizing! If my shoulders are 18 inches, do I select jackets with 18 inch shoulders? Or is there an offset similar with the chest sizing (ie. if I measure a 42 inch chest, I need a 44 inch jacket)

Thx!

Shirt's fine, fit is not. Overly baggy at several areas.

For a business casual environment, and just a business environment all around, should I buy j crew ludlow worsted wool trousers or regular j crew ludlow wool trousers? I guess my question is, which one looks better?
