When's the next substantial RL sale most likely going to be? The 25% Pink Pony one seems pretty weak...do they have something around the holiday season?

Other than Alden, who makes a handsome moderately priced chukka boot?

Also, can anyone recommend good shopping destinations in Boulder, CO?

I picked up this ISAIA suit in size 40R and 40S. Which should I keep? Don't worry about the sleeve length since they are still basted. Looking at the pics, I'm leaning heavily towards the 40R.

When sleeves have working buttonholes; couldn't a tailor unpick the buttonhole stitching, use spare fabric to perform invisible mending and then create new buttonholes after altering the sleeve? Wouldn't that be alot cheaper than altering the sleeves from the shoulder/sleevehead?

Hi - I want to buy a pair of Brooks Brothers Advantage Chinos in the Clark fit and am trying to decide whether I need a waist of 31 or 32. I have a pair of 32 Dockers that fit great and measure 16.8 Inches when measured as follows:

With the zipper closed lay the chino out flat with the top front edge even with the top back edge.
Measure from one side of the waist to the other.

If anyone has a 31 or 32 waist in the Clark fit could you provide me with a similar measurement for comparison I'd be grateful.

Why is it that when I talk to a black person, they are like "Damn, guy! You look SHARP!" but when I talk to a white person, it's "Why are you dressed like that? What do you mean you dress like that all the time?"

Another vote for 40R, AB.

Invisible mending wouldn't be invisible. Those are large holes, and even small reweaving jobs often leave a mark.

Invisible mending is not cheap at all, and an art practiced by only a few remaining folks in only a few major cities. It is also not really invisible, kind of like Scotch tape is not really invisible. Alter from the shoulders.

How does buying on the B&S thread work? Do you just pm the seller that you want to buy? Do most people use paypal?

So...

I'm looking for a modern-cut blazer on the web... the problem is that my size is EU 44 (US 34)

I've tried both in yoox and ebay.com. In yoox there's nothing affordable of my taste. In ebay I don't see much offers of 34s blazers.

¿Is there any other place to try? I would like to take advantage of euro-dollar exchange.

Thanks
