Anyone know of a decent tailor in Kingston, Ontario, preferably close to Queen's?

Can anyone tell me more about this blend, experience with similar coats by MJ?

Many thanks.

I have no experience with it, but I did see a jacket in B&S the other day (searching ... here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...ighlight=paper ) that was composed of cotton and paper - which was the first time I'd ever heard of such a thing. While not the same blend of materials or brand, the seller's .02 at lest in having handled such a thing might be insightful ... ymmv.

Does anyone have any info on the suits from the Valentino Boutique line or who made it? It was made in Switzerland so i'm thinking it might be Zegna.

Thanks

Oh, and I'll take recommendations on what to match them with.

These are great with either navy or gray. Those who say they are "too flashy" for such uses are probably imagining them in a business setting with a bunch of drably suited Brooks-Brothers obsesionados.

I second the Allen Edmonds seconds recommendation. CALL THEM UP and ask them about Evanston/Soho seconds. They are selling them off right now for $120 as they are discontinued. Make sure you know your size, or be prepared to ask them questions about it. great shoes, they will last you even beyond college if you take care of them.

Those would be fantastic with a blue or grey suit. Well done.

The Evanstons look fabulous. You probably won't find it as useful if this is going to be your only dress shoe for a while but these shoes in walnut are gorgeous.
