Hey friends,

I've got a rip in the pants on my favorite suit -- in an unfortunate location, naturally. Yeah, right on my ass. The tear is parallel to the seam but doesn't follow directly along the stitching and is about three and a half inches long.

Is this something my local tailor / dry cleaner can repair? Not at home right now so I can't upload pics of the pants.

Thanks!

Take it to them and ask them.

Any idea who makes these boots for RRL? (Adams Boot)
I have a pair and they are wonderful, would consider investing some money in that brand. Thanks

I'm trying to pick up a cheap tie for a wedding tonight. There is one that looks nice at JC Penny, in their house brand. It's $17. Are their ties ok, I.e. will it keep looking good for a year or two? I don't want to buy it only to find it was $17 wasted for a tie I wore four times.

I'm sure the tie sucks from a quality standpoint, but if it looks good with the outfit you will wear, it'll be fine.  If you only wear a tie once in a while, they tend to last a very long time from my experience.

Thanks yeah I had no delusions that out was a quality tie, buy new suit a nd .didn't have a tie that did the job with it, bit ended up with a notations house brand tie that really completed the look well. Decided to spend.money more instead of later.

Hello, I'm staying in Moscow and looking for a shop that have Tricker's boots. Searched internet for a while but can't get any result.

I have a black jacket but no idea of what colour of pants that could work with it. I know that this is not a favourite of SF (neither for me) but something must work? Is it possible to find a good match or is it doomed to be worn only as a whole suit reserved for funerals..?

Grey pants (not too dark) seem the most obvious choice.
