Are you OCD about matching cloths name brands?

Should they all be the same or can you mix Jose bank pants with brooks brothers shirts?

what kind of running shoes look best with blue denim jeans?

I was looking for running shoes that might go well with denim .I was browsing online and came across this-

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GC490Y/ref=gno_cart_title_1.

Do you think they will work fine with flared denim boot cut jeans?

Any shoes that are not running shoes.

Try streetwear section. They are comfortable wearing jeans and sneakers.

"flared denim boot cut jeans" and "running shoes that go well with denim" are really two phrases that really have no business here, not gonna lie. you have some learning to do grasshopper.

a tip: burn any boot cut jeans, or have them tailored to be straight fit.

if you MUST wear running shoes with sneakers, New Balance 574, asics onitsuka tigers, or some adidas originals actually can work quite well. Some uber-fashiony types have also been known to wear nike frees as well, but that is typically with suits, in the pages of tommy ton's street style on GQ.

btw, those shoes are not uncomfortable. 574's are apparently, as I do not own a pair myself and cannot speak to it but have friends that do, quite comfortable, and the tigers and the originals I do own/have owned and they are great.

Very nice suit and I love the color, unfortunately it's too small on me. The only Benjamin they have in my size is the medium gray, but it seems from what I've read charcoal or navy's the way to go. I'm not wearing it for work if that matters, just want a suit to wear to nice places. I'm also pretty pale and have heard medium gray is more of a summer color. The other option is going to Brooks Brothers and paying more money, but I could get the charcoal gray I like.
So I guess my main question is how do Brooks Brothers suits (1818) compare in quality to Benjamin? And any other advice you could offer with regards to the colors. I'm also on a short time frame so waiting for ehaberdasher to restock isn't really an option.

medium grey is fine any time of the year, only lighter greys are really "only" summer colors. and even then, there are ways to make it work in the fall/winter, particularly if broken up and worn with darker colors.

Gdot is giving you shit for suggesting wearing Brooks Brothers (relatively higher quality) with Jos. A. Banks (relatively lower quality and not thought of well here, in general) together.  But the answer to your question is:  Yes.  You can mix clothes from different brands.  There is no need to wear outfits made up of all the same brand.

Jil Sander made some really nice ones.

Edit: Somehow stumbled across an answer to my own question. Red Wing 101/9196. 9196 is exactly what I was thinking of (black calf chukkas).

I fear that with a more helpful answer you might break into my home unnoticed.

In all honesty, I have a friend who is an dancer and he glues pieces of suede to the bottoms of this leather soled shoes. A viable option.
