thanks for the feedback, i guess i have more specific problems though =[

here's the situation:

my 5 other brothers and I all have to wear the same outfit for the wedding -- black pants, black shoes, grey shirt, slim tie. since my parents are doing many of the wedding arrangements, they took it upon themselves to order some of the clothing as well. Problem is, we're all very small (i get XS shirts from jcrew tailored so they fit me, just an example), and the regular small dress shirts my parents ordered fit us like blankets -- of course, they think everything is fine

I could probably take care of this issue for myself, but I'd like for us all not to look like bums. We all have generic black dress shoes, fairly inoffensive so not worried there. Ties are hard to screw up, but any affordable recommendations would be appreciated. Pants, I'm willing to let them fend for themselves, but for me I'll probably grab something on Jcrew -- which type am I looking for there?

The main issue is the shirts. Grey ones.

Jcrew doesn't have the color in stock, at least on any <$100 items (honestly looking for $75 or less, lol). Brookes Brothers has an amazing sale for buying 4+ shirts, but again -- the grey is not in stock on any plain oxfords.

Does H&M sell some cheap fitted shirts that we can abuse for a day? Or any other store recommendations?

appreciate any help! thanks

edit: ooh, maybe this from Express?

Avicci,

Consider bloomingdales.com for some shoes, I have a 25% off coupon code that I am selling for $25. You might be able to find a shoe that you like at a discount. PM me if interested?

The Calvin Klein Body Line can be had at many dept. stores, although quality might not be that of Brooks, it's a nice cut and definitely comes in grey.

Can anyone give me any recommendations for entry-level dress shoes? I want a black pair and brown pair for my work. It will be business casual, so I'd be wearing trousers/slacks/khakis and a button-up shirt. Comfort is my most important criteria. I know of the basic brands like Alden, but those seem to be out of my preferred price range. I think I'd be comfortable spending up to $200 per pair. That being said, I like this style because it's simple:

Try and find discount Alden or Allen Edmonds. Or check Herring Shoes website.

Is it acceptable to wear linen pants with a cotton sportcoat to a summer wedding? Tie or no?

Is it possible that the Brooks Brothers Semi Annual sale could be better in its stores than online, or are the discounts the same? In other words, I see that online the suits are 30% off; is there a chance that a particular store (NYC) will have suits at a 40% (or other) discount?

Thanks.

I have an internship next month and need some slim fitting shirts (6 feet 150 pounds). Was thinking about spending around $150 per shirt. Does anyone of you have some shopping recommendations for Switzerland (Luzern, Zürich) or Berlin? Many thanks.

I would say this is fine. I would go with a light cotton or knit tie.

Question:

Looking at a RLPL black alligator belt strap with sterling silver RL Buckle. She said it is about 10 years old but only worn for like 2 years. The buckle has a little scratch through it.

Pictures of actual strap look pretty good, i would of never guessed it was ten years old.

She was $200 for belt strap and buckle. Anything 10 years old seems old to me, but what do you guys think?

Good Deal or not? Appreciate the help....
