I am considering having a new suit made, I am set on a three piece (with no lapels on the vest), however as all of my current suits are notch lapels, I was hoping to make the three-piece with a peak lapel. My issue is as an individual of smaller stature I have made all my current suits with narrow lapels (regular sized lapels look unusually large on me), approx. 2.25".

My question is, has anyone seen narrow peak lapels on a suit? And if so, I would appreciate someone positing some pics so that I can determine whether it would look odd on a suit.

Check TM Lewin out. I'm very happy with their suits. They're half canvased. From their current selection I would recommend the styles "Stephenson" and "Earlham". The cloth have a great feel. I purchased the Portobello and Brunel models also but didn't like the cloth as much.

I have a question of my own.

I intend to buy a overcoat and use a suit/Sport coat under. If the shoulder width (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) on my suits/SCs is 17,5-18,5", what should the shoulder width be on the overcoat?

Same thing goes for chest width, which is 19-20,5" on my suits/SCs. What should the chest width on the overcoat be?

I'm, of course speaking in general and am aware of that I wont get a exact scientific answer. I just need some rule of thumb to know what to search for at the Internet.

Sassettis - Opinion

Opinion on these Sassettis from Nordstrom?  Would be worn strictly with shirt/tie/slacks (brown/grey/blue).

Solid navy tie
Solid dark green tie.
I'm trying to buy better quality ties and starting with some basics, and have solid black and solid brown covered.

Any of those suits worn with a white shirt would look great with a solid navy tie.  The mid grey shakrskin with a light blue shirt would also look fantastic with the solid navy tie.  I would avoid dark green ties in general, but thats just my opinion.

 I agree that medium gray is more versatile, but because it pairs better with a variety of jackets, including a navy one. It provides a bit more contrast with the navy than charcoal does.

I got to work this morning and was drinking my morning cup of joe when I accidently spilled some on a pair of Epaulet wool trousers that I had on. There are now three small stains on my trousers. I had washed the stained area with water and them dabbed the area, but was wondering what else I could do to immediately resolve the issue at hand.

When I get home after work, is my best bet to wash the pant in woolite?

Just not sharp when people meet you shack your hand then check out your shoes then judge you.

I’m a horrible slob all I can do is have a strategy for cleaning. My strategy consist http://www.flickr.com/photos/puddleboy/4092047265/, wet the stain rub the pants on the bar, gently rub the fabric against it self, then wash as per instructions. Baking soda also is a great tool.
