Is suede/nubuck really fit for winter use? I've always heard that they can't take water and moisture, but I see all these people ordering RM Williams boots and alikes in suede - beacuse of the approaching winter. Do these people all live in a dry but rather cold climate, or have I gotten it all wrong?

I mean I wouldn't slosh around in the snow with it, but it is a cozy material for fall.winter for sure. Especially in darker colors.

Looking to buy my first 100% wool trousers. Where should I look? Howard Yount is all out of sizes, with what seems like poor customer service in not answering questions in the Howard Yount thread or through email. Panta is too expensive for me.

Looking for something in the $100 something range.

I recently purchased a midnight blue, SB, shawl collar tuxedo for a couple upcoming black tie weddings. I've decided to go with cummerbund/bowtie/braces, rather than a waistcoat.

What are some acceptable colors/combinations without looking like I'm headed to prom?

Should the tie and cummerbund match? If so, should the braces match as well?

What sort of combinations would work?

I am buying my first lot of casual shirts for weekend day time wear, and so far have a blue checked, a navy with white vertical stripes, a plain white, and 2 flannel shirts,

 

but i am unsure about this brown with white vertical stripes shirt:

 

 

 

 

 

What are others views on this shirt for casual wear, e,g shops, cinema, restuarants, the pub, ]]

 

is brown with white vertical stripes a casual shirt?

what bottoms and footwear would go well with this shirt?

 

Im 27 by the way, is this too young or old for me?

I had made a thread but got zero responses (I hope it's not because they're inexpensive) but I was curious on people's opinions of the Clarks Goya. I need a good looking, affordable dress shoe. Is there something in this range that blows it out of the water? This is for interviews and working in a hospital

I am planning on wearing a charcoal striped suit to an interview next week and need to choose a shirt to wear with it. I'm not a fan of solid color shirts and I was wondering if this shirt would be okay to wear with a charcoal striped suit.
