What are some good leather shoes for a student at senior year of high school? I am going to use the shoes at school.
I have chelsea boots and desert boots.
This is a weird question, pardon my ignorance. I just had my first bespoke suit made and I choose a different option other than belt loops for my trousers. I cannot for the life of me remember the name.
My question is what are alternatives for belt loops. I know tabs, but that wasn't the name. Anyone else know any other kinds? It's really bugging me and my tailor isn't open until Tuesday.
Thanks!

If someone at school is going to call you a douchebag, it'll be because you're trying to dress better than the norm. It won't matter what kind of shoes you're wearing; once you're past the $150 sneaker style, plenty of your peers will be out for blood (which isn't a bad thing, IMO).
With that being said, anything suede would look great. I'm about to start my second year of college, and I'm looking to get a pair of single monks in brown suede, as I've seen them look great with jeans and khakis. See:

If you don't like the idea of wearing monks to school, I think wingtips are still a great option. I'm not a huge fan of longwings, but that's totally personal preference.
I'm a second year law student. I'm having lunch tomorrow at a reasonably nice hotel with a partner at big firm. She is the aunt of one of my close friends and is going to help me find a job. It certainly isn't an interview in the formal sense, but it's important that I make a good impression. I'm considering wearing a suit, but I'm a little concerned it's overdoing it. I don't have a blazer or a sportcoat that is appropriate for summer (a blazer is going to be one of my next purchases, but I don't the money right now). I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Do you have any decent v-neck sweaters? Nice shoes, trousers, button-up (or maybe even an OCBD), maybe a tie (depending on shirt choice), and a cotton sweater looks "nice" without being formal.
I'd much rather wear something like that than a full suit; like you said, that's overdoing it a bit.
What are the guidelines (if any) for wearing leather with leather? I have some leather boots that I'd like to wear with navy chinos this Autumn, but I don't know what to wear for a jacket. I have one in leather, but don't know if it can be worn with the boots:

I might pick up a khaki field jacket, which I think would look great with the boots and navy chinos, but I'm just wondering if I'll need it.
