Now I would like to make a bit of a statement and go bold. What would you be able to get away with, with a suit like this? As the suit already has a pattern, I do not really know what you can do with the shirt and tie. Any suggestions?

Just a suggestion. But unless other people are going to be going a little "bold", you may not want to. Remember wedding are about the bride and it is not considered good taste to dress up in a way that takes attention away from the bride.

You can wear a pattern like this. but probably not in those colors. You should stick to a gray, navy, brown, or even a black as it is a wedding, but with not such accent colors.

Not to mention matching shirts and ties to this would be difficult. I can't really think of much besides what the model is already wearing.

I have 7 notch lapel suits. I'm thinking about getting a peak lapel suit to switch it up.

I have few questions on peak lapels:

1. Can I wear them as a regular business suit, or only on special occasions?

2. I have seen everything from 2.75. To huge on Tom Ford suits. What is best for everyday use.

3. What do you think the size of these are?

Thanks!

Thanks for the answer. The whole wedding will be a bit over the top and people were recommended to dress up boldly, so no real worries of upsetting the bride (lord knows what she may wear :-). I understand that it's a bit difficult to find matching shirts and ties, but was hoping there would be at least some variation possible. Good to know this may be difficult though.

Yes. However, if you're worried then the look might not be for you.

I know this is totally personal preference, but which pair would look better with darker jeans and/or khaki pants or darker tones?  Thanks!

I would say the bottom ones, but honestly I think you should save up a few more pennies and get Aldens which are much better quality and nicer looking, imo.

No problem. That would be a fun wedding! As long as everyones doing it, it will be a great event! Its going to be hard on the internet. It might be something where you get the suit with the style they have online and then take it to the store and compare. And see what works.

Also looking at it more. You could probably do a pink shirt blue tie. Or blue shirt pink tie. You just have to find the right shades.

What the heck kind of dress code is "White attire is encouraged for this event." White attire?

Set yourself apart from all the Col. Sanders wannabes, and wear your Imperial Stormtrooper armor.
