You would be better off with a skinny necktie 2.25" to 2.75" inches. And a little semi-spread as well.

On a pair of cotton twill slacks like this the stitching holes really will not be visible after a washing or two. I am with you on taking the label off, BTW.post #15756 of 223187/1/12 at 6:02ampost #15757 of 223187/1/12 at 9:26amQuote:Originally Posted by Stone34
Thank you for your comments. The Suit is very off. It is either too short in the jacket or way too tight in the pants. I took it to a Tailor and they said they absolutely can NOT fix it and it's un-wearable because you can't make the jacket body longer. And the pants don't have enough fabric to let out.
Yes I did pay with credit card but I am hoping the maker honors their work and still waiting to hear from them.
The maker took all the measurements and were informed of my concerns and they still got it wrong.
But I am giving them a chance to do the honorable thing and that is why I'm NOT posting who. I have no problem with letting someone fix their mistake so we can get it done right. I'm hopeful that will be the outcome.
I was just curious to hear your comments because I do NOT think I should have to pay for anything to have it remade from scratch since I didn't do any measurements and met with them to ensure it was done right. I deferred to their expertise. I just don't want to hear them say, yeah we'll remake but I still have to pay. I don't think that would be fair.
So thanks for your reply.
They should remake the entire thing for you then. I agree that you should not contest the charge on your credit card right away - give them a chance to make it right. However, keep in mind that a lot of credit cards have a 60 day limit on contesting charges. Please keep us posted.post #15758 of 223187/1/12 at 10:19ampost #15759 of 223187/1/12 at 11:37amQuote:Okay thanks. I just made my order on a Sunspel polo. From what I've heard, his polos are amazing based off of their price to quality ratio.

This is me in late 2009 when I was 367 lbs. The other picture is me from last month at 332 lbs. What do you about my weight loss?
My neck size is still 18" and 34" sleeve (as of July 1, 2012). Now my chest is 52" (it was 54"), and my waist is 56" (it was 58"). When I was 367 lbs. in late 2009, my neck size was 19.5" with 35" sleeve, plus 60" chest and 60" waist. I'm glad I lost weight. Thank you God.post #15762 of 223187/1/12 at 12:23pmQuote:Originally Posted by doughboysc

msulinski,Yeah they replied and said they would remake at no costs to me. However they do want to look at it and make sure they can't fix it. I'm fine with that, I've had Tailors look at it and other friends and no-one thinks it fits or even fixable. I'm also a little unsure of the quality of the worksmanship at this point. I will reserve any comments about the maker while in the process.
What I hope to say about the maker in a post on this board is... NAME the Company and then say, yeah bad start but they worked hard to resolve, made me another suit at NO Costs and it fits perfectly and I LOVE IT!!
The true test is how a company or in regular life... how people respond to a mistake. We all make mistakes or try and things just sometimes don't workout, but IF we do everything in our power to make it right, that's what separates the good one's from the bad. I have faith in people until they burn me. So I'm fine with given them the chance to resolve. The only bummer is, I was so looking forward to that suit and now that it's NO GOOD, I have to wait another few weeks to get it. Oh the anticipation sucks, haha.
So my fingers are crossed.

I'm taking it that she's wrong? The holes for the stitching are a bit small. Is there a good tool to loop into the holes? (P.S. I just saw my Dentek teeth cleaning kit and it seems that it might possible work though I'm not too sure)
