I have never owned, tried on, or worn a pair of AE's

If your budget is $300 ish, try the C&J Edgware, or maybe the Hallam. I find it extremely versatile, and was one of my first better shoes. Its listed a bit higher than your range in the link I provided, but you can find it discounted, perhaps on eBay often. Check the eBay seller Sausages (also a member here) and SalsaLocust for perpetual good deals on C&J seconds that usually always end at $325 USD.

Not a site, but I got my shell C&J Bradfords heavily discounted (from NYR) and I have seen a few pairs at great prices pop up on eBay.

Can someone please tell me, what is "SC" everybody is referring to, or is there some kind of FAQ to acronyms used on SF? Thank you

Sports coat and yes. (Not sure if it's the "official" one.)

Yup, she was my Grenson Rose pusher. Sarah used to sell on ebay as retailtherapy4all and is one of the few sellers that deducts VAT for overseas custies. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a bit sleeker shoe, take a look at the Allen Edmond Del Rays

Need some feedback on jacket length. Here is my problem - this is going to be a lose-lose. Most other jackets I have are maybe 2-3 inches longer. I don't have long legs either. Basically, I'm thinking this jacket is either too short, or all my other jackets are too long.

Heck, worst case this is too short and all my others are too long. Ideally, I'm thinking maybe another .5 to 1 inch, and my others need to lose 2 inches

Also, I deliberately chose off-trousers (this is a suit jacket) for constrast purposes.

New Photos - found another camera with much better resolution. FYI...I'm awful at photographing myself

Pics are beyond terrible.

However, using my best squinting techniques, it is short.
