im thinking about getting a rag&bone suit.

this is the measurement of a r&b 40r:

size\t40
chest 40
length 30.5
sleeve 26.5
shoulder 18

i normally wear a rlbl 40r. would i fit into this? the item is final sale on an online purchase. should i risk it? my main concern is the shoulder. cause on most r&b stuff i need a size 42.

thx ya'll!

Is that maybe bc it is linen with rolled edges or....?

You can also iron the folds (not the rolled edges) to flatten it more.

Sounds small to me, too, but you might have better luck asking about the R&B label in the Streetwear & Denim forum since it's more of a fashion label than a tailored clothing label.

Looks nice to me, although I like to show a bit more cuff. Personal preference though...

I'm a 38S in jackets and sportcoats, and short (5'8"), so buying a 38R would generally mean a trip to the tailors to adjust the length... beyond price are there any obstacles to doing this, or situations where it would be ill-advised (like, say, with certain fabrics or types of jacket or what-have-you)?

Hi guys, i was just wondering what size of a jacket to buy online. My chest measurement is 36'' to around 36.3'' depending how i measure my chest. I wanted to buy a jacket that is 18'' pit-to-pit for size small and 19'' pit-to-pit for size medium. I want a slim fit and i was wondering what size i should get.

You can't really adjust the length on jackets with patch pockets. Even on jackets without patch pockets, you can't adjust the length very much before the placement of the buttons and hip pockets starts to look too low. You generally can't get away with more than an inch before the proportions on the jacket start to look off.
