Hi - New guy here... Can anyone recommend a really good shoe repair shop in Washington DC? My ancient Alden 990s were turned down by the factory restoration department the other day, but I want to get them resoled anyway. Willing to pay for top-drawer craftsmanship. Ok, so I have a question, which I suspect the answer is obvious but would like to double check. Why is it that the variety of different suit labels in my wardrobe have (predominantly) two different sizes, yet they all seem to fit me fine? In half my suits I am a 50R, which I believe referees to chest measurement. However in other suits I own that fit me just as well I am a 40R.
