Could be the photo angle but your button stance also looks high. On the back pic looks like your right shoulder is lower? that whole back of the arm area looks off, like way too wide.
Dunno man, I just want to look good. I don't have to spend a million bucks, but if I have to I will. If you can get a $30 that fits and looks great, go for it, but you can't put a price on looking and feeling good. spend whatever you need to look good.

Thanks for the helpful feedback. I'll just give it to my brother then. Don't think a tailor can get it fixed without costing an arm and a leg.

I believe whether or not a suede chukka can be worn in the spring/summer is more dependent on the color than the the fact it's suede. I would wear a tan suede chukka in the summer, but not likely a medium brown or darker.

Quick question: What are some things to look for in a "higher quality" leather shoe ?

All I know so far from my readings on this forum:
- leather sole
- full leather upper (what's the term for the upper where the leather shouldn't crease over time??)
- sole is attached to the boot with stitching, not glued on
- leather dyes ?
- ?

Is there an easy and quick way to get the wrinkles / folding wrinkles out of my new button down shirt I just bought? You know; the lines from the way the factory folds it in the package... I want to wear it tonight, and I don't really want to iron it...

its a black calvin klien button down.

You don't wash it before wearing? And you don't want to iron it?

There is only one option: give it to your mom/wife/girlfriend... or check if your local dry-cleaners/laundresses have express service.

Tried it. Hang on the hanger for about 7 days, the folded wrinkles will go..

Need a slim fitting nazy blazer, OTR, quick! I'm a 38L but I suppose a 38R might work as long as its not too short. Also, should I stay away from blends and just go for true wool? Thanks.

I am looking for a brown wingtip that can be worn with dress pants (predominantly) and also jeans. I want a sleek but not too sleek shape and a rounded toe. The C&J Finsbury is at the top of my list at the moment. Is this shoe versatile enough for this?

Also, I would appreciate sizing advice on the 341 last. I am a slightly large 11d on the brannock. I have the AE Cliftons on the 8 last in 11d which are a snug but fit very well. The 10.5 in the Tricker's wingtips that are sold out on sierra trading post at the moment fit well, but I returned them because of color. I also have the Barker Lincoln on the 396 last (which I couldn't find any info about) in 10.5 which is large and requires a substantial insole for a good fit. I understand that the 341 is a little shorter and wider possibly than the 337, but I don't have any experience with the 337. I would appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance.

Full grain leather rather than corrected grain leather is a pretty important distinction, too. There may be some good links in the pinned "HOF: Best posts" thread in Men's Clothing. There have been some very informative posts from some members with extensive knowledge of shoes. If you come across some, it may be worthwhile to search for more posts from them.

They would definitely work with dress trousers. Being balmorals, I think they would be a bit formal for jeans, but still better than about 95% of the shoes worn with jeans. A shoe with a chisel toe such as the Clifford on the 337 last might work a little better with jeans if that toe shape is acceptable to you.
