Wrong size or bad fit. Different cause, same outcome. You could try a half insole, like the superfeet brand offers. A tongue pad can take up extra room in the vamp area as well.

C&J make women's shoes, and they work in shell. To my recollection, they have a flexible MTO pattern, but the upcharge is ~50%. You might try Leffot – there's a woman who works there who always has incredible shoes from some of the brands they carry.

Thank you, I'll check it out.

Has anyone heard of Gianni Davardi? It was a great looking suit and made in Italy (tag looked like Corneliani). I can't seem to find any information about the brand.

Anyone know of other size systems for clothing? I sometimes find suits and coats marked as size 23/24/26 while thrifting and I can't find any info about this. All clothes I've found with this sizing were from Germany/had tags in german so I assume this may be a pre 1990 - East/West German system. From what I've seen a size 23 fits like an american 36 or 38 but I may be wrong.

Has anyone seen or heard of this?

Corneliani silk and linen at Saks outlet for $200, retail was supposedly $2k (hah) . Kind of ridiculous, but I have an urge to pull the trigger. Thoughts?

Seems to fit well on you. I bought an all-silk version from Saks Off Fifth online for the same price, and I like mine.

Would work better with a higher button stance so the bottom buttons were in line with the pockets, but it seems nice enough.

If you planning on wearing with a/that tee shirt..then ok. With a shirt, it will be a different fit.

Does anyone have any advice in relation to where I can get heel/ top taps in UK (or who ships to the UK)?  A lot of the places (Amazon/ Ebay don't list sellers that ship to the UK... :/

Hey I am getting married in July and looking for a reliable/fairly cheap option for suits. We are wanting a dark brown wool option. Found a few but reviews are mixed so I am alittle nervous about purchasing from them. Anyone have some suggestions?

What is fairly cheap?

OK, but I am talking about a sweater vest.

I can't figure what kind of pants this dude wears. Would dark blue jeans do??

One more thing. Someone wrote that it should be weared under a shirt. Was this a joke? What's the purpose if the others cannot see the vest?

Those pants look like worsted wool suit trousers or slacks to me. As for jeans with a sweater vest,IMO, it can work ,would maybe be better with a different color vest and without a tie. Jeans and tie looks a bit off to me, but it depends on the jeans.

Also,as far as I know, in the UK, the term "vest" can refer to a tank top/A-shirt/wifebeater undershirt like this :

Could I get an opinion about this set? Please, understand my choice. I am very inexperienced in this subject. :D
