Hello All,

Looking for advice on cleaning some Persol sunglasses.  The swords/arrows on my sunglasses are starting to tarnish.  Probably more due to me touching them with my fingers and my sweat/moisture getting on them.  I have tried rubbing them with the cleaning cloth that came with them and that helped a little, but they are still tarnished.  Any suggestions on cleaning them?  Is there some type of cleaning product I should use?  I do not want to strip off the chrome and end up with unusable sunglasses because I stripped off the shininess.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looks like a step in the right direction. Who sells them besides Yoox?

The only exception i can think of are wool/ mohair blends. Mohair gives a nice masculine sheen to the fabric and an excellent drape. But hey, just one guys opinion here...

Yeah, you're thinking of sharkskin in layman's terms.

The terms gets thrown around to refer to shiny cloth in mohair or silk blends, but it's just a weave. It looks especially shiny in shiny yarn (as in that Hugo Boss suit, or your "Goodfellas" style of thing), but a really dry sharkskin (call it pick-and-pick if you want) is no flashier than a birdseye or a nailhead.

Of course, I'm from New Jersey, so what do I know?

I took that to mean because he is from New Jersey and talking about sharkskin suits, you CAN take him seriously. 😄

Can anyone help me date these Paraboot bluchers?  They predate having the brand tag on the vamp, and have leather soles. Newer models seem to have rubber lug soles.  A model name would help too.  They seem similar to the Avignon and Griff models, but not exactly the same.

Comments on the fit? Also is this suitable with chinos and oxblood shoes for a smart casual look?

Purchased some Tod's gommino loafers, it looks like here is creasing from the sole on one of the shoes?

Is this normal? Am I overreacting? The first pic is the creased one, the second one is normal.

I got a small scuff on some black lizard skin boots that shows the tan color beneath the black finish. What's the best product to fix it? (It's very small but noticeable because of the color difference.)

Can anyone identify who made this SC? I ran across it at Burlington Coat Factory of all places for $79.99. No other tags of course... Worth the money?

Is that a faded signature?
