What is causing all my suit lapels to do this? This is actually the least pronounced I think. My other 2 suits are significantly worse. frown.gif

I can't really tell from the picture what's happening but it almost seems like it would be like that because the button is in the wrong spot or your shoulders are uneven. I really have no idea though

Ah thanks. My shoulders are uneven. The annoying thing is each tailor I've seen has assured me this is not a problem as they can fix for me. Then of course when the shoulders look weird they say it isn't their fault I have weird shoulders and I should go full bespoke if I really want it fixed.
I didn't realize this issue was sir to the shoulders though as it doesn't show up until I wear the suit a few times

Which exotic animal would be best used for its durability for a Wallet?

Alligator, Crocodile, Lizard, Shark, French Goat, Buffalo, or Ostrich?

Durability and flexibility: kangaroo

Durability period: shell cordovan

Durability in the sense that it won't look old after a while: absolutely nothing

What colors look great with this DB jacket?

Some kind of intense flame, perhaps?

Otherwise, you could perhaps go for some kind of laid back smoking jacket feel...add white or cream flannels and a similar soft shirt with a plain ascot?

There's no reason for me wearing a smoking jacket... I neither belong to a social club nor do I wear those at home.

Regarding the intense flame color... interesting..

I think a bow tie or no tie would look best with the jacket.. Probably any color shown on the jacket (except yellow).

Yes, but are you going to use a bunsen burner or a blowtorch?

A match would suffice.

Kira, I meant a flame literally.  Then I tried to be more charitable: you have a Stuart tartan double breasted odd jacket, and you're questioning whether it can act as a smoking jacket because you don't smoke?  It's an extraordinary item and needs to be in an extraordinary outfit: treat it as the outlandish novelty it is, pair it with something light and neutral and casual, and just have fun.  With people who have a sense of humour.

Or you could just give it back to Don Cherry.

Are navy jackets with gold buttons ever worn or made as a full suit? I seem to only ever see them paired with contrasting chinos or trousers.

Question about USPS international shipping, Can i buy indemnity insurance after i print label online? (indemnity insurance is only allowed to purchase in person at USPS)

Mimo, Thanks for your opinion. I was ambivalent whether or not those posts from you and Cruz either were genuine or sarcastic.. And it appears that it was the latter.

I saw this on the local auction site as well. I guess someone stole this one from Don Cherry as well?

It was recently sold a few minutes ago for $69.95..
