I'd love to be able to wear this Alexander McQueen tie in the office, but can't think of a shirt to wear it with that wont leave me (a redhead) completely washed out looking.

There's no way of getting away with this at work, is there?

(apologies for the double post from a page ago, my posts weren't showing up yesterday)

I have a 2 year anniversary dinner coming up with my girlfriend, and I want to look great for her. I currently have a Walnut AE strands and a light grey blazer to work with.

I'm looking for some pant and shirt combinations that will work with the items I already have. I'm not afraid of color or patterns, and I'd like it to embrace the season. I'm 25 years old as well, if that matters.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How about a light colored button down (white, light blue) shirt, with stone colored trousers? Will go well with the walnut strands, and appropriate for spring / summer.

My concern is that would be a little too conservative or safe color wise. The lady likes a little bolder look.

Whilst Daniel Day Lewis is nt a redhead he is wearing this type of colour tie quite well with a plain white against a dark charcoal and wondered if it may do the same. Check the page here and see his red carpet picture about the et hird pic down the post. http://artofmanliness.com/2009/01/15/mens-fashion-body-type/ Hope helps http://gentlemansgent.blogspot.com/

What will you be doing on your anniversary?

We are going to very nice Tapas restaurant that has been on our Bucket list for a while...going to a spanish restaurant is exciting for us - we traveled to Barcelona last spring and we fell in love with the place.

Beyond that nothing is in the books.

So, I would assume Malbec is in order?
