Kamakura for shirts ($79).

Greetings gents. These will be returning from alterations tomorrow and I need to figure out where to go in terms of both a shirt and tie and an open collar shirt alone.

I'm kind of drawing a blank - suggestions?

is there any point in trying to get fairly small, darker stains out of a dark tie?

if so, what's the best course of action? i'm referring to NICE ties (i have a stain on a charvet that i'd love to get out)

How/Where can I start my search for a tailor? Right now, all I have to go off of is Yelp.

Go to a local high-end menswear shop and ask for recommendations.

LOL! Well, I do enjoy Yelp for its restaurant recommendations. Figure I would try my hand at tailoring as well.

Apologize for the sub-standard pics in advance. Are these gloves too big? They feel okay in the fingers but the palm seems to have extra material when I make a fist. Would love opinions ASAP so I can either give them back to the seller or keep them and go home.

Edit: Returned.

What city? Tons of tailoring posts all over this forum. Maybe yours has been covered at some point in time, or a city within an hour of you.

For SC #1 what do you think about a light blue shirt and a forest green tie where the green has some pop to it and isn't too dark a shade?

Still thinking about SC #2 since I haven't graduated to bolder patterns yet!

Thanks TM - it's actually the same coat in the second pic, just a close-up to show the pattern more clearly.  I'll give that a shot.

I live in the Dallas, TX area, though I'm about 45 minutes away from downtown. I'm sure I could find some if I search on the forums. Will just take me a bit.
