I'm in Boston and two places I went to said the prices start at $750 and rise pretty quickly.

I also own the Southwick (Epaulet) Navy hopsack and love it. I fit into a lot of 40r's almost perfectly OTR and only need minor sleeve adjustments so for me it's a pretty easy decision to save money on staples by never bothering to go the MTM route.

I'll only go MTM for a jacket if I want something unique.

MADE IN MOLDOVA?? WHAT THE HELL??!

A lot of articles by Rick Owens have a label with "made in Moldova". Where the bloody hell is Moldova? It's worts than "made in China"!! It's incredible spend 1600 euro for a leather jacket made in Moldova! Who produced them are thieves!!

Why aren't Moldovans allowed to make leather jackets when the Chinese are?

N.B. Moldova is just north of Romania.  It used to be part of the Soviet Union.  It has the lowest minimum wage in Europe.  I think your question is answered.

What I don't know is who Rick Owens is.  But I take it he's somehow involved with leather jackets.  Good luck to him and to you.

There's not many colours you can't wear with white and navy.

Monty: don't wear that.  Wear a light blue shirt.  And then I'd go burgundy, brown or dark green.  Probably a knit or grenadine.  And tan shoes.  Or if you're going to wear jeans, why a tie at all?  Maybe get at least some chinos...

Acinod: but don't  buy shit shoes.  You're not going to wear them to an interview anyway...

All the more reason not to purchase any of those shoes about which you asked.

Aldens right? Obviously great shoes, but he's clearly looking for something $500 less...

Looking for versatile trousers. Wanted to get different shades of gray, beige, and some others that go well with almost all outfits. Hugo boss sharp fit me well, but I am having trouble deciding which colors to get from nordstrom sale. Which colors from the following would be ideal/versatile?

Tonal Checks

Blue black check

Tan check

Grey Plaid

Grey White Check

Blue Check

Grey Check

I just bought a summer wool/linen blend dark blue odd jacket with patch pockets. It's going to wrinkle - which is fine.

Is it going to appear incongruous to wear this type of coat with stone gabardines or tropical wool grey odd trousers?

PS Fresco is out because I can't afford it right now - i really wish i could!

These appear to be the end-all-be-all to me:

I would have everything in fresco and hopsack if i could swing it.

Thanks in advance!
