Where can I find good (and moderately slim) Oxford cloth button-downs in Europe?

As a student, I have a limited budget. The only properly sized OCBDs I could find are from T.M.Lewin (for example, this or this). Are these shirts good? Is there another European source of OCBDs or is an import from the USA inevitable?

New member needing style tips!

Hello all, new to the forum. I had a brief question whether or not a red pocket square with white polka dots would look good on a black suit, white shirt and grey tie. I was originally gonna go with a grey pocket square to match the tie, but figured that'd probably be too plain and I wanted to add a little flair via the pocket square. Opinions please! Thanks.

Here is the suit, shirt and tie.

No. If you're going to wear a pocket square with that, just use a white linen one.

Hey guys. Found a stain on my polo Ralph Lauren pants today :/ looks like I sat in something oily? Ad ideas on how best to get it out? They are machine washable if that helps?

Is Viccel (viccel.com) no longer a SF affiliate?

Anyhow, I was thinking to swap my all black socks (I do have some grey ones...) with socks from Viccel and was wondering if any here has tried out the new heavy winter weight? That is 33% thicker than the normal winter weight, so it seems like a good thickness for the temperatures where I live.

Other options in the same price range would be interesting to hear about as well.

irgendwas: For OCBDs I would say Luxire (luxire.com) is a good option in terms of quality for price.

Material? Are these cotton, wool, linen, pandahair? What?

Generally, I would say to pre-treat the stain with a stain remover that bills itself as being able to get out oils, and then wash as normal. Test the stain remover somewhere inconspicuous first to make sure you're not going to be taking the color out with the stain.

Don't machine dry unless you're sure the stain is out- heat has a tendency to lock stains in.

100% cotton. Can you recommend any stain remover brand?

You do realise there is a random foot sticking out behind you???

Also think the bad length tie/knot makes the shirt seem worse. With a better tie, the shirt may look better????

Help with jackets/blazers.......

So having recently turned 30 I have done away with my casual jeans and hoodies and started dressing smart/casual.

dark jeans or chinos with shirt and v neck are my staple.

I have always HATED jeans and a jacket but more recently have been drawn to thinking about it as an alternative to the shirt and v neck.

I reckon my hatred comes from people wearing suit type jackets which just doesn't work.
So my question is what type of jacket/blazer would work well??

I wear dark blue jeans or chinos and mid brown/tan shoes or grey suede brogues.

Just looking for inspiration please!!!!!

(Also, do I need to size up for a jacket? Especially if I'm wearing a jumper underneath???)

What pants color(s) goes with this shirt?

Thanks in advance.

How much of a d**k will I be if I wear my own black shoes instead of the square toed ones the groom picked out for everyone? I'm one of 3 others standing next to him during his wedding. The suit is already bad enough (it fits me terribly, but I'm going to wear it).
