Could these be worn with chinos or jeans? They are a dark burgundy color.

Thank you

Chinos definitely!
Jeans probably as well if they are a darkish blue, I imagine (not wearing jeans fwiw).

Sorry if the pic is too big I'm on iPad now don't know how to resize. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

i have no idea about dating stuff, or the different zegna tags, but i do have a zegna SC with that same label. bought it from a zegna outlet store this past july, so it cant be too old a tag. even if it was from the previous season, it would only be a year or so old.

i actually wondered if it was a tag specific to the outlet store items, but i have never heard of zegna producing a line specific to the outlet stores they have. maybe someone else knows.

looks like a sweet jacket either way. smile.gif

I made an account on London Lounge days ago, but it hasn't been activated by an administrator and there's no contact info. Does anyone know what I should do?

Hello,

My question is particular with the Bruno Magli “Raging”.

99% of the pictures that I see on ebay and internet shows that the rubber soles does NOT have “made in Italy”  on it BUT they have the “made in italy” in the insoles inside the shoe

How come the pair that just arrived for me from UPS from Nordstrom AND a pair that I saw on an ebay listing does not have it? (I remembered their floor model has that “made in Italy” stamp there)

Did I get jipped from Nordstrom?

Anybody own a Burberry London "technical cotton" (65% poly 35% cotton) trench coat? What is your opinion vs. the gabardine ones?

if i wore a pink shirt what would you suggest for a tie and suit colour? i find it hard to think of something that is formal enough again.

Hrm... I recall at my junior prom a friend of mine wore a medium grey suit with a pink shirt (can't recall the tie -- this was before I was into the whole clothing thing), and he killed it. You can't go wrong with what you originally suggested: navy ties are indescribably awesome, and you'd wear that suit for a very long time. If you did that you could (maybe? I'm not aware of any scripture from the Book of Manton on the subject) still do the matching boutonniere thing.

Thank you

They're balmorals, which IIRC means it's technically wrong to do so. Of course, it's entirely possible I recall incorrectly, and even if I don't, it would look absolutely kickass. Screw the rules! You have style!

how come you have to apply shoe polish to shoes to keep them from drying out and cracking, but you don't have to do that with suede shoes? then what prevents them from cracking?

Is this moth damage? Or something else? If so, I do I get rid of those nasty mother fuckers?

Just bought these two from J. Crew today. Should I keep 'em or return them for something else in the store?

Does anyone have any experience with the brand Ze Garie for suits? I went to a professional suit shop here in my town (not a department store or chain, rather a boutique/warehouse for menswear) and they fit me like a glove. I was able to get a charcoal and navy suit for $300 together. Supposedly they are at least DESIGNED in Italy, and use 140's wool, which beat the Alfani suit I returned to Macy's. However, the website listed on their tag (zegarie.com) doesn't exist, and a google search yields absolutely nothing relevant to the brand in terms of suits. What gives?

Would any of you be able to shed some light on this brand? Even if they're relatively nonexistent I would like to think I got a decent deal for both suits. I am a college student and just started work in a professional environment where I may have to wear a suit every now and then and really wanted to have my own after gathering some knowledge on the internet. I really like the way the suits fit, so I would probably still keep them regardless (which may or may not have something to do with the fact that they were final sale when I bought them at the store). Thanks in advance everyone.

Well, you liked them enough to buy them in the first place, just recently. And you haven't mentioned being displeased with anything (color, fit, price, etc.) about them. I mean, if you were displeased with them for some reason, you'd surely have said so, right? That's only sensible, after all.

So, I guess you ought to keep them.

But hey, I'm willing to get a dialogue going. So, what do you think you should do with 'em? Why do you think that?
