I cannot find the pocket square thread so ask here: Is there a online stockist for ready made, easily accessible pocket squares? I can only found Sam Hober and Kent Wang, but I want my PS to be about 17".

Current is 14" in a patterned silk (see photo below). I am looking to fill the other varieties i.e. solid colors like a white PS. The current one I picked up at a local NS Rack for a steal so very happy with it. I just think a 12" will sink into my chest pocket as the 14" does every now and then if not folded correctly. I personally prefer the puff or just tossing a silk PS in very quickly (14" silk PS still tends to flatten out and slide into the pocket, disappearing after awhile). I would like the PS to hold its "shape" and I think size matters here.

Thoughts?

FWIW I had an event and did not have a white PS so was SOL. The current PS photoed would not have paired well with a navy suit, white shirt, and pin-dot burgundy tie.

I believe The Tie Bar offers its silk pocket squares in two sizes, the larger of which is 16"x16". That close enough? Anyway, I think they're $12 each in the large size, so if you order one and it turns out you don't care for it, you'll not be out much money.

I'm new to the ways of style so I tend to be very conservative with my color choices especially with tie shirt combos I tend to go very like colors like grey with grey black and white grey with white blues with blues so on and so forth any help?

For about thetiebar redface.gif

Excellent...I just placed an order from NS though for a plain 14" white PS. Will keep tiebar in mind next time.

Howard Yount has some pocket squares too, though I'm not sure of the size. Also, you could try putting a paper towel in your pocket under the square so it doesn't fall down.

Question re 3roll2 suits or 3 roll 2 1/2 suits. Do they actually have 3 buttons or just 3 buttonholes, and no upper button, which seems more logical to me, since the button is not visible.

Mine has a 3rd button, but it is hidden behind the rolled lapel, as is half of the button hole. You can see it from the side.

Hey,

I have problems wearing the hell out of my winter boots, how do you wear yours?

Do you cramp your pants into the boots, or do you roll up the edge of your trouser?

Hoping for answers! smile.gif

Grüße

They have buttons, they just look really weird if actually buttoned.

I tend to roll my trousers so that I dont get them too creased or wrinkled.

Would it be possible to convert a regular waistband into a split waistband with no ill effect? How much would this job cost?

More versatile and worth keeping ...

Allen Edmonds Strand in Walnut vs. Alden for J. Crew Waxed Longwing in Tobacco???

Going to sell one of them, just not sure which to keep.

About 1% of SF members know exactly what each shoe looks like and is familiar with both shades. How about a photo?
