I happened across these shoes on ebay

They are listed as Vintage Cloud Club oxfords, very cheaply priced.  I just wanted to get an opinion on them here because I have never heard of the brand or anything.  The price seems too good to be true for anything of decent quality.

Trying to decide between the two of these to go with a Navy suit and light blue shirt (pictured). I know the safe bet is to go with the Navy, but seems a bit boring to me. The gold is totally on the other side and might be a bit too garish though.

Definitely not a gold tie for a wedding, unless the ceremony is to be conducted atop an elephant in Las Vegas.

Lol, "The Shoes with the pillow inside."

Don't look too bad for the price, though. Go for it.

While reading over this thread, there was some discussion about bias pipes came up. Despos explained them in the following, but I am still confused.

I wouldn't recommend this if you ever want to actually put anything in your pockets without the mouths completely stretching out of shape.

Yes. At least those that look good.

I have the BB Strand and wore them in light rain today. I was shocked at how slippery they were because of the semi-rubber sole. Is this common?

I second this. While there is a lot on this forum about ties, it's filled with a great deal of fluff in between. Though it would be nice to expect anyone who wanders in from Google to bother searching the forum and then reading through various threads, it seems more likely they'll give up and just throw on that satin turquoise tie to go with their black suit and black shirt.

And I think we can all agree that won't just be his problem. A man in such a combination is everybody's problem.

Any place where I can get a decent Navy blazer in XS/34 for under $500?

Very difficult to find one in that size at all.

Meaning no offense, but might a boy's blazer fit? Because I understand that finding a men's blazer (or suit) in a size smaller than 36 can be difficult.

Otherwise, I suppose $500 would be enough for you to go the made-to-measure (MTM) route.

Are fully unlined blazers/jackets by definition not able to be canvassed?

What are the pros/cons I should be aware of in going unstructured vs. structured on a spring/summer blazer, and does having it partially/fully unlined play into the dynamic at all?

Trying to determine what combination of lined/structured I should think about.

From what I've heard, large boys blazers tend to be very boxy. Sucks being short musicboohoo[1].gif

Yes fully unlined jackets are uncanvassed. if you don't have much to fill out the jacket out (not a problem, just saying) it may not look as good and you may want to get more structure in the jackets, in which case you can get the partially lined ones which will have the canvas in front and be lined there as well, with the lining gone in back.

the durability will not be the same as a fully canvassed one, but it can be nice to not sweat your ass off. i assume that's the thought process?
